The Heat & Glo SLP elbow turns a 4 x 6-5/8 inch SLP SlimLine direct vent run, in a 45 degree version (SLP45) or a 90 degree version (SLP90). It changes direction between the fireplace, the wall or roof and the cap, and twists on to lock like the straight SLP sections.

How many elbows can I use?

Your fireplace installation manual sets the elbow count and the rise and run for each layout. Check those tables before you order.

Can an elbow go right on top of the fireplace?

Some manuals allow it. The SlimLine SL-5, SL-7 and SL-9 manual, for example, explains how to fit an SLP90 directly to the top starting collar. Check your own manual first.

Will it fit DVP pipe?

No. DVP uses its own DVP45 and DVP90ST elbows.

Will this fit my fireplace?

SLP parts are listed for Heat & Glo direct vent gas fireplaces whose installation manual names SLP venting. The SlimLine SL-5, SL-7 and SL-9 manual, for example, approves both SLP and DVP. Send us your model and we will check the vent list for you.
