The Heat & Glo PRIMO-HEAT-DUCT is the heat duct kit for the Primo II linear gas fireplace. It carries warm air from the fireplace through a 6 inch duct to a register elsewhere in the same room or another room. The airflow comes from the fireplace's own convection fan, so the kit runs whenever the fireplace is on.

Do not kink the duct.Heat & Glo warns not to fold, kink, pinch or obstruct the 6 inch flex duct, or the fireplace could overheat. A qualified service technician should install the kit.

No. It is powered by the Primo II convection fan and runs whenever the fireplace is on.
How far can I run the duct?
Between 3 ft and 25 ft of total duct length.
Where can the register go?
In the same room or another room, at least 3 ft from the fireplace opening, not blowing toward the front of the fireplace, and 18 in. from combustibles.
