The Heat & Glo PHTRIM-MCE-72 is the vent trim for front discharge with the ducted Passive Heat kit on the Mezzo 72. Passive Heat is Heat & Glo's fan-free heat management option. It conveys warm air from the fireplace into the same room, lowering surface temperatures around the fireplace. Heat & Glo calls this trim a required part of the PHFR-MCE front discharge installation.

What else do I need?
The matching Passive Heat front discharge kit, PHFR-MCE-72, bought separately and installed before this trim. Heat & Glo notes two plenums must be installed for Passive Heat to work.
Will it fit a Mezzo 60?
No. The Mezzo 60 takes PHTRIM-MCE-60.
Can the register be covered?
No. Heat & Glo warns never to block the Passive Heat register.
