Heat & Glo Insert Surround, 25 or 35 Insert
Heat & Glo insert surrounds are the metal frames that close the gap between a gas fireplace insert and the existing fireplace opening. The first number is the insert size and the next two are the surround width and height, such as MI35-4432 for a 44 x 32 inch surround on a 35 inch insert.

Questions people ask us
How do I pick a size?
Measure the existing fireplace opening and face. The surround must cover the gap around the insert. Each installation manual lists minimum mantel leg and wall projection clearances per surround, so send us your measurements and we will check.
Do I still need a front?
Yes. Heat & Glo requires both a front and a surround. See the Insert Firescreen Front.
Is there a deeper surround?
Heat & Glo makes 2 in. deep versions for the 30 and 35 inserts (MI30-4230D-BK and MI35-4432D-BK). Ask us.
