How do I confirm it is the right part?

What does it do?
It is the temperature switch the heat management system uses. In the HEAT-ZONE-PRIMO and HEAT-OUT-PRIMO wiring it is the thermodisc.
Does it fit the Primo II?
The Primo II lists we checked do not show 2310-204. They list a 180°F limit switch assembly, 2670-015.
Who should install it?
Turn off the power and the gas and let the fireplace cool first. A qualified service technician should replace electrical and control parts, following the wiring diagram in the installation manual.
