Questions people ask us
How do I confirm it is the right part?
Find the model and serial number on the rating plate of your fireplace, then check this part number on the service parts list for that model. Hearth & Home Technologies lists it for the SLR32 as a media option. Send us the model and serial and we will check it for you.
How many bags do I need?
The amount depends on your fire bed. Send us your model and we will check the quantity the manual calls for.
Can I use it in another fireplace?
Only where the manufacturer lists it. Media that is not approved can affect the flame and combustion.
Can I replace it myself?
Turn off the gas and the power and let the fireplace cool fully first. A qualified service technician should do the work, following the owner's and installation manuals for your model, especially if logs, media or the burner have to come out.
