A Hearth Classics Original Edge sample shows one Hearth Classics tile or stone color in person, before you order a full Type 2 hearth pad. Tile and natural stone vary, so a sample is the easiest way to judge the color against your floor, walls and stove.

Questions people ask us

Will my hearth pad match the sample exactly?

Not always. Slate and stone are natural materials and tile runs change, so Hearth Classics notes a finished pad may not match the sample you saw. The sample shows the color family and texture.

Which hearth pad does this sample go with?

These samples are for the Original Edge Traditional Hearth Pad, a Type 2 pad for ember and thermal protection.

Can I get a color that is not listed?

We list Black Hills, Canyon, Desert Canyon, Olympic Grey, Sonora Desert and Indian Slate in this set. Samples in other Hearth Classics colors are listed under the Classic Edge samples. For anything else, ask us.
