The Grand Canyon Blue Pine Split is a vented gas log set sold as logs only, in 18, 24 and 30 inch sizes. Grand Canyon found the pine in a bark beetle ravaged forest in northern Arizona. The casts show a deep grain with gray highlights, like a log cracked in half, and a reverse side with alligator bark. It sits on a Grand Canyon 2 or 3 burner front view vented burner, sold separately. Part numbers BPS18LOGS, BPS24LOGS and BPS30LOGS.

What does the split look mean?

The casts show the inside grain of a pine log cracked in half, with gray highlights. Grand Canyon notes the logs can be turned to show the alligator bark side instead.

What are the logs made of?

Each log is individually cast from ceramic fiber, high temperature concrete and stainless steel fiber mesh, then hand painted.

Is there a see-through version?

Grand Canyon lists the Blue Pine Split for front view fireplaces only.
