Questions people ask us
Which set does this fit?
Grand Canyon's Lava burner manual lists 05-00137 as the back log of the 30" GFWOC30 set. The 36" set uses a different back log, 05-00140.
Is a GlowFire log different from a standard log?
Yes. GlowFire logs are ported ceramic refractory logs: gas flows out through ports in the log itself, so the right part number in the right position matters.
Is cracking normal?
Grand Canyon notes that some cracking and flaking of the logs is normal with use. Replace a log that has broken apart or no longer sits in place.
Not sure which log you need?
Send us a photo of the set and the broken log and we will confirm the part number. Ask us here.
