For Superfire 3624 and 4224

Golden Blount Fireplace Mesh Curtain Screen and Mesh Door

An open front fireplace still wants a screen for the hours it is not lit, and a mesh curtain is the one that does not read as a cage. These are cut for the Superfire fireboxes rather than fitted approximately.

  • Part and fireplace: Mesh curtain screen, SF3624, Mesh curtain screen, SF4224, Mesh door, SF4224
  • Cut to the fireboxA mesh curtain sized to the Superfire 3624 or 4224 hangs straight and closes fully. A generic screen gaps at the edges and shows it.
  • A curtain, not a cageMesh curtain reads as part of the firebox. A freestanding screen in front of a detailed refractory panel undoes the panel.
  • Screen or doorThe mesh curtain screens are for the 3624 and 4224. The mesh door is the hinged option for the 4224.

Specify it with the fireplace

The screen is cut to the firebox, so ordering both together is the only way to be sure it closes properly. Put the fireplace model on the quote form.

Golden Blount does not publish a specification table for this part on its own product pages, so nothing is listed here rather than estimated. Model numbers and configurations are in the selector above, and we will confirm any dimension with the factory before you specify it.

How to get a price and lead time

Golden Blount is quoted rather than listed, because the right configuration depends on the firebox, the fuel, the venting and the control. Send the project details on the quote form on this page and you get back the exact assembly, the lead time and the freight arrangement in writing.

Builders and fireplace contractors working on more than one project at a time should open a trade account. It gets you drawings, submittal documents and a single point of contact across jobs.

If this is a repair rather than a new installation, send a photo of the firebox and the valve. That identifies the part faster than any part number search.

Common questions
Which fireplaces do these fit?The mesh curtain screens are cut for the Superfire 3624 and the Superfire 4224. The mesh door is for the SF4224.
Screen or door, which should I choose?A curtain screen stays with the firebox and reads as part of it. The hinged door is the choice where you want to open and close it like a door.
Will a generic screen fit?It will sit in front of the opening but it will not close to the firebox the way a cut screen does, and it covers the refractory detail you paid for.
Can I add one to an existing Superfire?Yes. Confirm the model on the quote form and we will send the screen cut for it.
