Golden Blount Big Tex See Through Vented Gas Log Set
Golden Blount is quoted rather than listed. The right configuration depends on the firebox, the fuel, the venting and the control, so we confirm those with you and send the price, the lead time and the freight arrangement in writing.

A see through firebox is seen from two rooms, so the log set has to be finished on both faces. Big Tex see through is built that way, in the giant full bark castings that fill an oversized opening.
- Size: 30 in, 36 in, 42 in
- Log finish: Full bark
- Two good sidesA single sided set put in a see through firebox shows its unfinished back to whichever room matters less. This one does not have an unfinished back.
- Giant full bark logsThe same oversized castings as the standard Big Tex, which is what a tall zero clearance or oversized masonry see through opening needs.
- Thirty, thirty six and forty two inchThree sizes covering the widths a see through firebox is usually built at in a custom home.
The detail that gets missed on see through fireboxes
Half the installations we quote started with a single sided log set in a double sided firebox. Confirm the firebox is see through before the set is ordered, not after.

How to get a price and lead time
Golden Blount is quoted rather than listed, because the right configuration depends on the firebox, the fuel, the venting and the control. Send the project details on the quote form on this page and you get back the exact assembly, the lead time and the freight arrangement in writing.
Builders and fireplace contractors working on more than one project at a time should open a trade account. It gets you drawings, submittal documents and a single point of contact across jobs.
If this is a repair rather than a new installation, send a photo of the firebox and the valve. That identifies the part faster than any part number search.
