The two stage burner built for the Big Tex log sets and the oversized fireboxes they go in. A raised rear burner with an adjustable front burner, which is how a wide opening burns across its whole width instead of only in the middle.
- Size: 24 in, 30 in, 36 in, 42 in
- Fuel: Natural gas, Propane
- Valve and ignition: Dexen millivolt valve, No valve, burner only, Skytech 3-in-1 valve, Skytech 3-in-1 valve, see through, Spark to pilot valve
- Two stages, two jobsThe raised rear burner builds flame height behind the logs. The adjustable front burner controls what you see at the front. One burner cannot do both.
- Twenty four to forty two inchSized to the Big Tex sets, in natural gas and propane, with Skytech 3-in-1, Dexen millivolt and spark to pilot control.
- Built for the big openingsTall zero clearance metal fireboxes and oversized masonry fireplaces are what this assembly exists for. In a standard firebox it is more burner than the opening needs.
Pair it with the Big Tex set it was built for
The two stage layout is designed around the Big Tex log arrangement. Quote the set and the burner together and the flame lands where the logs expect it.

How to get a price and lead time
Golden Blount is quoted rather than listed, because the right configuration depends on the firebox, the fuel, the venting and the control. Send the project details on the quote form on this page and you get back the exact assembly, the lead time and the freight arrangement in writing.
Builders and fireplace contractors working on more than one project at a time should open a trade account. It gets you drawings, submittal documents and a single point of contact across jobs.
If this is a repair rather than a new installation, send a photo of the firebox and the valve. That identifies the part faster than any part number search.
