Flare Reflective Back Panel for Front Facing 50, 16" Glass | RB-FF-50
Flare Reflective Back Panel for Front Facing 50, 16" Glass | RB-FF-50

Flare RB-FF-50 is the black reflective ceramic glass back for the Flare-FF-50, the 50 inch front facing direct vent fireplace with regular 16 inch glass. It takes the place of the standard matte black back with Flare's high temperature Neo-Ceram glass-ceramic, which reflects the flame and media when the fire is on and reads as satin black when it is off. This is the panel for the vented indoor model, not the vent free outdoor range.

Questions people ask us
Which fireplace does RB-FF-50 fit?
The Flare-FF-50: 50" front facing, 16" glass, 47 15/16" x 16" viewing window. Other lengths and glass heights take their own reflective back.
Will it work in a Flare vent free outdoor fireplace?
No. This is the direct vent panel. Flare makes separate reflective backs for its vent free outdoor models, with VF in the part number.
How is it installed?
Flare's manual uses two people, suction cups and a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the clips, set the glass into its lower channel at an angle, push the top edge back and refit the clips. Do not overtighten; the spring is meant to flex. Unsecured glass can lean forward and break.
Do I need side panels too?
Flare applies the back panel to all units and recommends side panels mainly for see-through, corner and passage models. Ask us if you want to add sides to this fireplace.
How do I clean it?
Use an ammonia-free glass cleaner with the fireplace off and cool, and check that no media has dropped into the glass channels before you relight.
