Flare premium stones come in 15 piece sets, in Premium Black or Cottage White. Each stone is about 1 1/2 to 3 inches, and they are laid on the burner tray of a Flare gas fireplace for a calm, architectural look. Part numbers MEDIA-PS-BLA and MEDIA-PS-WHITE.

How many sets do I need?
Flare's media guide calls for 4 sets for a 30", 7 for a 50", 8 for a 70" and 12 for a 100" front facing, see through, corner, Passage or Traditional model. Room Definer models take more.
How big are the stones?
Flare describes its stones as about 1 1/2 to 3 inches. Sizes vary from stone to stone.
Is this the media that came with my fireplace?
Flare ships each fireplace with one classic media choice. Premium Black and Cottage White stones are premium media, which Flare sells separately.
Where do the stones go in the firebox?
Flare's install manual asks for a 1 inch clearance around the pilot cover, a single layer of media over the burner, media kept inside the burner tray and off the burner ports, and no media between the inner glass and the safety barrier. Flare's media placement guide shows layouts.
