Which sizes do I need?
Flare's media guide pairs the sizes by fireplace: 1 Small for 30" and 42", 1 Large for 45" and 46", 1 Small and 1 Large for 60", and 2 Small and 2 Large for 100". Other sizes are in the details above.
What goes with driftwood?
Driftwood is often set over fire glass or pebbles, with glowing embers spread between the pieces.
Where does the driftwood go in the firebox?
Flare's install manual asks for a 1 inch clearance around the pilot cover, a single layer of media over the burner, media kept inside the burner tray and off the burner ports, and no media between the inner glass and the safety barrier. Flare's media placement guide shows layouts.
