Fire Pit Art Saturn with Lid fire pit, wood or gas
Named for the ringed planet, a 28 inch fire inside a 41 inch steel ring, with a steel lid that works as a snuffer and a table top. Handcrafted in the USA by Fire Pit Art.
- Wood or gas, your call. Pick wood burning, match lit natural gas or propane, or push button electronic ignition. Gas versions arrive with a stainless steel HPC Penta 18 inch burner rated at 125,000 BTU, lava rock, a flex line kit and the burner plate.
- A finish that gets better. The iron oxide patina needs no upkeep and deepens a few shades with every fire. Skip the tarp: it can blacken the patina and leave its color on the steel.
- Steel lid. The lid snuffs the fire and gives you table space when the fire pit is not in use.

Fuel options and what is included
- Wood burning: the fire pit.
- Match lit, natural gas or propane: the fire pit, a stainless steel HPC Penta burner, lava rock, a flex line and valve kit, and the burner plate.
- Electronic ignition: everything in the match lit package plus the AWEIS All Weather Electronic Ignition System, with a 24 volt transformer, fire module, heat shield and install instructions.
A licensed gas professional should make the gas connection, and an electrician should wire the electronic ignition.
Made to fit it: the 27.5" spark guard.
Shipping and returns
Every Fire Pit Art piece is built to order. We confirm your ship date once the order is placed, and fire pits travel by freight carrier with curbside delivery.
Inspect the shipment before you sign for it. Signing without noting visible damage counts as accepting it in good condition. Report concealed damage within 48 hours and keep the packaging.
Return requests must be submitted within 21 calendar days from delivery, and every return needs prior written authorization from Aqua Terra Backyard.
Common questions
Can I switch from wood to gas later?
Choose the fuel when you order. Gas versions are built with the burner, pan and fittings for that fuel, so call us if you are on the fence and we will talk it through.
Natural gas or propane?
Go with what you have at the house. Natural gas needs a line run to the fire pit. Propane runs from a tank.
Will it rust?
The orange brown patina is the finish, and it is meant to be there. It settles and darkens as it matures. If the fire pit will sit right on salt water, ask us first, because the maker's warranty does not cover saltwater settings.
