The Duravent PelletVent Pro Horizontal Cap terminates a through-the-wall PelletVent Pro vent. Duravent designs it to create a venturi effect that forces the exhaust out, and the cap can be turned at the gore to direct the exhaust. Part numbers 3PVP-HC2 (3") and 4PVP-HC2 (4").

Can I use it on a vertical run?
No. Duravent lists it for horizontal terminations only. Vertical runs use the vertical cap.
How far must it stick out from the wall?
Duravent's instructions say the vent should extend at least 6" beyond the exterior wall once the cap is attached, unless the appliance manufacturer says otherwise.
What else does a wall termination need?
Duravent's horizontal plan uses a wall thimble and a horizontal cap.
