The Duravent DVL adjustable pipe is a double-wall black slip length that makes up the odd inches in a DVL run, offered as a 6 inch in 6 or 12 inch lengths and an 8 inch in a 12 inch length. Used with rigid sections, the 6 inch length adds 2 to 5 inches and the 12 inch length adds 2 to 11 inches. Duravent part numbers 6DVL-6ADJ, 6DVL-12ADJ and 8DVL-12ADJ.

Questions people ask us
How does the adjustable pipe work?
It slides over the mating section to the length you need, then you screw it to lock the length, as Duravent's instructions describe.
Will it fit an oval stove outlet?
Duravent says the 12 inch adjustable can be ovalized for an oval-to-round connection. Check the appliance manual.
Can DVL pipe be cut to length?
No. Duravent says DVL pipe cannot be cut. Use the adjustable or telescoping lengths to make up the run, and lock them with screws once set.
Is DVL a chimney?
No. DVL is double-wall connector pipe (stovepipe). It runs inside the room from the appliance to a Duravent factory-built chimney listed to UL 103HT, such as DuraPlus or DuraTech. Duravent says it must not be enclosed or pass through walls, ceilings, attics or closets.
Which appliances can DVL connect?
Duravent's instructions say DVL is used to connect an appliance that burns wood, coal, oil or gas, and that every wood burning appliance needs its own connector and chimney. The appliance manual decides the approved venting, so send us the appliance model if you want it checked.
