Duravent DuraTech Storm Collar, 5"-6" and 7"-8"
The Duravent DuraTech storm collar closes the top of the roof flashing to make a weatherproof roof penetration. Duravent requires one with every DuraTech flashing. The 5DT-SC fits 5 and 6 inch DuraTech, and the 7DT-SC fits 7 and 8 inch. Seal its inner edge to the pipe with a 500°F non-hardening sealant.

Seal it to the pipe.Apply a high-temperature (500°F), non-hardening waterproof sealant where the collar meets the chimney, just above the flashing, as Duravent's instructions describe.
