Duravent CVS Adjustable Pipe, 3" x 5"
Duravent CVS Adjustable Pipe, 3" x 5"

Duravent CVS adjustable pipe is a telescoping 3" x 5" section that sets anywhere from 9" to 12" (35CVS-12TA) or 12" to 18" (35CVS-18TA). Since CVS pipe cannot be cut, it is how a run lands on an exact length between fittings.

Questions people ask us
Why use an adjustable length?
CVS pipe cannot be cut, so the adjustable section takes up the odd length between straight sections and fittings.
Does it need screws?
Yes. Duravent's instructions call for screws at telescoping adjustable lengths, unlike the standard twist-lock joints.
Is CVS approved for my appliance?
Only if the appliance maker approves it. For direct vent gas use the vent is part of the appliance listing, and Duravent asks you to confirm your appliance is approved for CVS by name. Send us the model and we will check.
Not sure this is the right adjustable section?
Send us the appliance make and model and a short description of the vent run, and we will confirm the part numbers before you order. Ask us here.
