The Dimplex XLFTRIM is a black trim kit for Ignite XL and Ignite Evolve linear electric fireplaces, made in 50, 60, 74 and 100 inch lengths to match the fireplace width. Dimplex recommends it when the fireplace is partially recessed in a 2x4 wall, because the kit covers the part of the unit that sits proud of the wall. It ships in black and can be painted to suit the room. Part numbers XLFTRIM50, XLFTRIM60, XLFTRIM74 and XLFTRIM100.

Do I need the trim kit?
Dimplex recommends it when the fireplace goes into a 2x4 wall and is only partially recessed. The kit covers the protruding part of the unit. In a 2x6 wall the fireplace is designed to sit flush.
Which size do I order?
Order the length that matches your fireplace: XLFTRIM50 for a 50 inch unit, XLFTRIM60 for 60, XLFTRIM74 for 74 and XLFTRIM100 for 100.
Can I paint it?
Yes. It ships in black, and Dimplex describes the trim as paintable in any color.
Does it fit the Ignite Bold or Ignite Ultra?
Dimplex lists the XLFTRIM kits for the Ignite XL and Ignite Evolve only. For another model, send us the model number and we will check what Dimplex offers for it.
