The Dimplex Optimyst Pro is a 20 inch built-in water vapor cassette, the flame engine you build into your own enclosure, offered as the CDFI500-PRO-RGB (order number 500004172) or the CDFI500-PRO with amber flames (X-2113053). LED light and fine mist make 3D flames and smoke with no combustion, and several cassettes can be linked for a longer fire. It runs on 120 V at 230 watts, from a refillable container or a plumbed water line.

Questions people ask us
What is the difference between the RGB and the standard cassette?
The CDFI500-PRO-RGB adds multi-color flames, the Flame Connect app, leak detection and an included water filter. The CDFI500-PRO has amber flames. Dimplex lists the same size and enclosure opening for both.
What else do I need?
A framed enclosure, a 120 V connection (hardwire or the CDFI-PLUGKIT plug kit) and water from the included 42 oz container or a plumbed line with the CDFIPLUMB-KIT. See Dimplex accessories.
Does it heat?
No, the cassette is flame only. Dimplex offers the optional CDFI-TMHEAT heater.
Can I link several cassettes?
Yes. Multiple cassettes install side by side and connect in series for a longer fire, each with its own air inlet.
