Questions people ask us

How is the Evolve powered?

Dimplex lists it as hardwire capable at 120 V or 240 V. On 240 V it gives the full 2,500 watts of heat. Ask us if you want to plan a 120 V outlet install.

Hardwired installs, and any 240 V or 208 V connection, should be done by a licensed electrician to the instructions and local codes.

What wall depth does it need?

It sits flush in a 2x6 wall. In a 2x4 wall it projects slightly and uses the XLFTRIM trim kit, sold separately. See Dimplex trims.

What media is included?

A multi-media bed of acrylic crystals, tumbled glass and driftwood logs. Browse Dimplex media in glass and media.

What does the app do?

The Flame Connect app pairs over Wi-Fi and adjusts flame speed, color, brightness and temperature, with schedules and mood presets.
