Pool Pilot Evolve salt chlorine generator for pools up to 40,000 gallons
Chlorine made from a little dissolved salt, every time the pump runs. The Evolve pairs AutoPilot's power center with the PPM3 manifold and PPC3 cell, and its tri-sensor keeps track of flow, salt and water temperature for you.
- It reads the water for you. The tri-sensor watches flow, salt level and water temperature, and the patented temperature compensation trims output in cool water and raises it in warm water.
- Boost on demand. Press both arrows and it runs at 100 percent for a cumulative 24 hours of pump run time, then returns to your setting on its own.
- On your phone. Add the PoolSync WiFi controller and you can check on it and adjust it from the PoolSync app.
Salt stays in the pool.
The cell turns dissolved salt into chlorine, and once the chlorine has done its job it turns back into salt. Evaporation does not take the salt with it, so you mostly top it up after backwashing, heavy rain or splash out. Hold it at 3,500 ppm and the system does the rest.

Installation and what is included
The power center comes with its 12 ft cell cord and mounting hardware, and the PPM3 manifold carries the PPC3 cell.
Plumb the manifold into the dedicated pool return after the filter and the heater. It needs 20 to 100 gpm, with a bypass manifold above 100. Mount the power center within reach of the manifold, about 10 feet is recommended since the cell and tri-sensor cables are 12 feet, and at least 3 feet off the ground. A licensed electrician should make the electrical connection.
Shipping and returns
In stock orders are processed and shipped within 1 to 2 business days. Orders travel by parcel or by freight carrier depending on size.
Inspect the shipment before you sign for it. Signing without noting visible damage counts as accepting it in good condition. Report concealed damage within 48 hours and keep the packaging.
Return requests must be submitted within 21 calendar days from delivery, and every return needs prior written authorization from Aqua Terra Backyard.

How do I pick the size?
Go by the gallons in your pool. This one covers up to 40,000. If you are close to the line, call us and we will talk it through.
What salt level does it need?
3,500 ppm. Below 2,300 ppm it stops making chlorine and tells you to add salt, and between 2,300 and 2,700 it shows a low salt warning.
Can I run it from my phone?
Yes, with the PoolSync WiFi controller, PS0001, paired to it.
