Athena Round Stainless Steel Fire Ring Burner
The Athena Fire Ring is a round 304 stainless steel burner for gas fire pits, made in seven diameters from 6 to 48 inches. The 6 inch ring has a single spoke, the 12, 18 and 24 inch rings have two spokes, and the 30, 36 and 48 inch rings have three spokes and a 3/4 inch gas inlet. Each ring comes with an NPT pipe plug and an Allen wrench. Part numbers FRS06 through FRS48.

What size ring do I need?
Athena makes the ring in 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36 and 48 inch diameters. Choose one that sits inside your fire pit with room around it, or send us the inside diameter and we will help you choose.
What comes with the ring?
The 6 to 24 inch rings come with a 1/2 inch NPT pipe plug and an Allen wrench. The 30 to 48 inch rings come with a 3/4 inch NPT pipe plug and an Allen wrench.
How much heat does each size put out?
Athena rates the FRS06 at 88,000 BTU on natural gas and 92,000 on propane, the FRS12 at 93,000 and 94,000, the FRS18 at 140,000 and 150,000, and the FRS24 at 155,000 and 165,000.
Does it run on propane?
Yes. Athena rates the 6 to 24 inch rings on both natural gas and propane, and lists a separate orifice size for each fuel on the 12, 18 and 24 inch rings. Use the orifice that matches your gas supply.
Is there a pan made for the ring?
Yes. The Athena Drop-In Round Pan comes in 19, 25 and 31 inch sizes with a 12, 18 or 24 inch fire ring fitted.
