Questions people ask us

Which kit do I need?

Choose by fireplace size (35", 40" or 45"), by direction (natural gas to propane, or propane to natural gas) and check that the fireplace has SIT electronic controls. All three are on the rating label and in the manual.

My Scorpio has an Ecoflow valve. Will these work?

No. The Scorpio manual lists a separate set of conversion kits for Ecoflow fireplaces. Send us the model and we will find the right one.

Do you have propane to natural gas kits for the 35" or 45"?

The manual lists GCKSEV086N for the 35" and GCKSEV042N for the 45". We list the 40" kit here, so ask us about the other sizes.

Who should install it?

A licensed gas professional, following the kit instructions and local codes. Conversion changes orifices and gas pressure settings, so it is not a homeowner job.
