What is 303 Aerospace Protectant used for?

It is a water-based UV protectant for spa covers, vinyl, rubber, plastic, PVC, finished leather, gel coat fiberglass and outdoor furniture. It helps prevent fading, cracking, drying and chalking, and it leaves a matte, non-greasy finish.

How do I protect a hot tub cover from the sun?

Clean the cover, let it dry, then spray 303 Aerospace Protectant out of direct sun and wipe it completely dry. Reapply about once a month for continued protection.

Can I use it on Sunbrella or other fabric?

No. Aerospace Protectant is made for vinyl, rubber and plastic, not fabric. For outdoor cushions and covers, use 303 Fabric Guard instead.

Why is my surface streaky after applying it?

Streaks usually mean too much product was applied. Wipe the area with a damp towel, then buff it dry. Extra buffing with a dry cloth also improves bonding and wear.

Which size do I need?

Choose 16 oz for a single job, 32 oz for several surfaces or regular upkeep, and the 1 gallon refill if you protect covers all season. One 16 oz bottle covers about 40 sq ft.

How often do I reapply?

Reapply about once a month. Keep the surface clean and wipe it completely dry each time.
