3 Things Worth Knowing First

Pick Wood Or Gas Up Front

Gas models come in match lit natural gas or propane, or with push button electronic ignition. Each gas version is built with the burner, pan and fittings for that fuel.

Not sure yet? Send us a photo of the spot and we will talk it through.

Let The Patina Do Its Thing

Carbon steel pits wear an iron oxide patina that needs no upkeep and deepens with every fire. Skip the tarp while it matures, because it can blacken the finish.

Right on salt water? Ask us first, the maker's warranty excludes saltwater settings.

Plan The Gas Line And The Delivery

A licensed gas professional should make the gas connection, and an electrician should wire electronic ignition. Every piece is built to order and travels by freight with curbside delivery.

We confirm the ship date as soon as you order.

About the brand

About Fire Pit Art

Fire Pit Art handcrafts steel fire pits to order in the USA, from low, wide bowls to 40 inch statement pieces cut with coastal scenes, wildlife and symbols. Most designs come in wood burning, match lit natural gas or propane, or with push button electronic ignition. Aqua Terra Backyard is an authorized Fire Pit Art dealer.

Which size should I choose?

Most designs are 36 inch bowls. The Asia and Bella Vita families run from 34 up to 72 inches for bigger groups. Send us a photo of your space and we will help you pick.

Wood or gas?

Wood gives you the crackle and the smell of a real fire. Gas lights with a match or a switch and leaves no ash. Gas versions are built for the fuel you choose, so decide before you order.

How do I care for the finish?

The carbon steel pits wear an iron oxide patina that needs no upkeep and deepens with every fire. The Bella Vita is 304 stainless steel. Skip the tarp while a new patina matures.

How does it ship?

Every piece is built to order. We confirm your ship date once the order is placed, and fire pits travel by freight with curbside delivery.
