What it is made of
Four materials across the range, and each one asks a different amount of you once it is on the patio.
A dense hardwood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. It takes heavy daily use and ages to a silver grey, or holds its golden brown with a sealer oil.
Teak grown on Indonesian plantations, naturally oily enough to shrug off weather without a finish, and famous for looking better rather than worse with age.
A woven polyester seat and back over an aluminum frame. It flexes under you, dries in minutes, and will not sag like a cheap sling.
An in house outdoor plastic made without harmful chemicals and fully recyclable. It wipes clean, resists UV, and never needs sealing.

What Amazonia is
Amazonia is the house outdoor furniture brand of International Home Miami, built around FSC certified eucalyptus hardwood and plantation teak grown in Indonesia. The range leans toward dining, with extendable tables and chairs sold in pairs and fours so a set can grow with the household.
Eucalyptus or teak
Teak carries more natural oil, which is why it can be left outside with no finish at all and still look premium after a decade. Eucalyptus is denser and costs less, and it rewards a coat of sealer oil at the end of each season. Both are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
How to store it over winter
Keep hardwood furniture somewhere cool and ventilated rather than a heated room. Central heating dries the timber out, which is what causes shrinking and cracking. A waterproof cover with mesh vents is the simplest option if you have no shed.
Will my umbrella fit
Every Amazonia dining table on this page is drilled with a two inch umbrella hole, which takes a standard patio parasol pole.
