Pool Valves

The Parts That Decide Where The Water Goes

Every pool pad runs on valves. A diverter valve splits flow between pool and spa, a multiport sends the filter through backwash and rinse, a ball valve isolates the pump so you can open a strainer pot without draining the lines, and a check valve keeps everything moving one way. When a handle will not turn or a valve weeps at the stem, the fix is usually a rebuild kit rather than a whole new plumbing run.

Matching a Replacement

Start with pipe size, then the connection style, then the port count. Two inch and one and a half inch slip bodies cover most residential plumbing. Jandy, Pentair, Hayward, Waterway and CMP bodies are not cross compatible, so match the brand and the model stamped on the valve before you order, and use a lubricant rated for pool valve o rings when you reassemble.
