What it is made of
Four materials carry the whole range, and which one you pick decides how much work the furniture asks of you.
Teak traced to a forest managed for replanting. It holds a honey brown with a sealer oil once a season, or weathers to a silver grey on its own without losing strength.
Recycled plastic collected by people who exchange plastic waste for household essentials. Maintenance free, UV resistant, and recyclable again at end of life.
An aluminum frame finished so the slats read as warm timber. Nothing to sand, nothing to oil and nothing to rust, which is why these ranges can stay out all year.
Weather net is a woven polyester seat with real give that dries fast. Olefin cushion covers resist fading and shrug off a spilled drink.

Who makes LifestyleGarden
LifestyleGarden is a brand of ScanCom International, a Danish outdoor furniture manufacturer founded in 1995, with its own production in Brazil, Indonesia and Vietnam and commercial offices across Europe and the United States. Making the furniture in its own mills is what lets the brand certify the timber it uses.
Which collection should I buy
If you want warm wood and do not mind a yearly coat of sealer oil, look at Agate, Jade, Portals and Topaz. If you want furniture you can ignore completely, Panama is aluminum end to end with a printed wood finish. If you want color, Nassau is made from recycled Social Plastic in ecru white, peony pink, sage green and honey yellow. For a balcony rather than a yard, look at Arno and Zircon.
Can it stay outside through winter
The aluminum ranges can stay where they are. Teak and eucalyptus can be left out too, but they prefer a cool ventilated space to a centrally heated room, because dry heat is what makes hardwood shrink and crack.
What is Social Plastic
Social Plastic is recycled plastic gathered through collection programs where people exchange plastic waste for household essentials. In the Nassau range it forms the seat shells and table tops, paired with FSC certified eucalyptus legs, and the finished piece is recyclable again.
