A stainless steel U bracket and all the hardware ship in the carton, with three M8 threaded inserts per side. It goes on a wall or under a soffit and points at the seating rather than sitting in a planting bed. Low frequency is omnidirectional below 200 Hz, so placement is far more forgiving than it is with a satellite and one well placed unit covers a large patio.
Exterior grade plywood under a two part polyurea finish
The grille is three layers: powder coated perforated stainless, acoustic foam and stainless mesh. This is the construction specified for restaurant patios that stay open through winter, which is a different standard from a residential subwoofer in a weather resistant box.

What comes in the box
The subwoofer, a stainless steel U bracket, four M8 and four M4 screws, four rubber washers, an input cover, a T3 square drive and the installation guide. Both black and white finishes are offered. Tell us which you need and we will confirm availability.
Weights to plan the mount around
42.8 lb for the subwoofer on its own, 50.6 lb with the bracket fitted and 61.1 lb as it ships. Three M8 threaded inserts per side. Check what the wall or soffit can carry before you order, and send us a photo if you are not sure.
Amplifier and crossover
Bose recommends 500 to 2000W of amplification and a 40 Hz high pass at 24 dB per octave into an 8 ohm load. This is a component in a designed system rather than a plug and play consumer subwoofer, and it rewards being driven properly.
